Why Flushing?

  Alex answered the question perfectly.  Yes it will probably be crowded in Juniper, but we will check.  But in In Flushing we can have a more private practice and not worry about hitting people in the head.

     April 6 2008 is our next practice .  All must come, The location will be Flushing Meadow park and the time will be 3:00 pm.

Spring Break Batting Practice

I can't go a week without some practice. Can you? Well, tomorrow morning I'm heading out to the batting cages. The Bronx Golf Center has automatic softball cages that are outdoors. Unlike the Astoria Batting Cages, batters are able to see how far their hits go. I'm planning on going in the late morning. If you are interested call Steve, he is also going.

that slide was freaking halarious. Guys the first week of April, we will be collecting $45 for the uniform. So giving everybody a heads up. Another thing, last week practice was good. Everybody played alot better and is getting better. Like Serge said, "Practice makes Perfect" See everybody Sunday.

Don't Forget to Spring Forward

Finally, the longer days have arrived!
Daylight Savings Time is at 2:00am Sunday morning. Make sure you set your clocks one hour ahead tonight so that you don't miss anything in the morning. What does this mean for The Regulators? More sunlight at practice tomorrow and from now on.

March 9, 2008 Practice

  Practice will be at 3pm at Juniper valley park . We can all meet at Steve's house or if you know go straight to the park.

Players Showing Commitment

   There were a few more practices held on monday and tuesday. Ralph, Steve, and  Srj , practiced at juniper park and it was very good. The field was in good condition the ground absorbed the rain very well and there was very little water. The team is looking very good and I do see us making playoffs. As long as we practice there will be no stopping us.

I finally got in. Steve. I got somebody good that wants to play. They have the money. I only counted 9 guys and we need 10. Let me know.

Good Practice

I had a lot of fun yesterday. Even though the field was muddy I had a great time. I haven't played ball in almost two decades, as most of you could tell, and now I can't wait until next week's practice. I'm hooked!

It looks like we have a good base to work with. With enough practice we can make every team in this league look bad. Let's get that Trophy!!!

My New Honey

Dudes,

I just got my new glove. I haven't had a glove since I was a kid. If you haven't gotten yours yet, get on it. It has really made me excited about the season. I couldn't put it down all night. I moisturized it and have been playing with it since I got it (no homo).

I was considering getting one online but at Steve's suggestion I went to Sports Authority, which has a fair selection. I tried on every one they had. As soon as I put mine on I new that it was the one for me. I know it sounds like a love affair and I hope it becomes one on the field. I want that trophy and we are going to do all we can to get it.
